Here’s how you can use a microsite to promote your products and services

Microsites can be described as mini websites that give you an opportunity to target a particular audience, to promote a specific product/service or product/service range.
If you make your microsite work separately from your main website it enables you to focus on a different strategy and be able to measure the response. You can even change the look and feel of your microsite from your main website to reflect your specific audience and product/service.
When you run an advertising campaign using your microsite is a great way to measure your marketing efforts. Also it gives you a way to collect customer information for further marketing.
For example you have placed an advert for a new product in a magazine, instead of using your normal website address you could promote the microsite address. This microsite is linked in with the design of the advert but also has a contact form and more indepth information on that product.
You could also track the results of the visits to the microsite giving you the stats to see if the advert in the magazine is working which is great for making informed decisions.
Another great example is one of our clients, hb group, using a microsite we created for hb’s clients to receive their new brochure. This gave them an opportunity to promote this to their existing clients and attract new ones, while collecting the information to use with future campaigns.
Overall microsites can be very useful and there are more ways to use them then mentioned above but hopefully this has given you a taste of the benefits of having them in your marketing plans. If you would like to discuss you’re microsite campaign in more detail call Matthew today on 0121 288 4227.
