Be Careful of copyrighted material

Recently i came across a twitter post of someone who had received an email demanding that an image they were using on their website from this persons site be put back up online as it was ruining the layout. Not only that but this person was threatening legal action.
Now this caused a laugh amongst the users twitter follows as the person who asked for image had no right to use this image as it was copyrighted and to make it even more funny threaten legal action on the user who would win on the grounds of infringement.
This reminded me of another story i read about where someone was using images off another site and after being asked many times to removed them and failing to do so action was taken. The owner of the images replaced them with naked pictures.
Imagine your surprise if overnight your site was filled with unsuitable images and the amount of damage it could potentially do. So be warned any image you use from another site get permission to use the image and once permission was obtained download the image to your own server for use to save any embarrassment.
