Creation of online CPD Handbook for RE

A variety of associate organisations have been developing a resource for RE teachers and professionals to meet curriculum needs. They decided to release the material as an online book / resource to give greater flexibility and reach a wider audience.
Twelve20 have been commissioned to design and develop the CPD RE online handbook which is due to be made live later this year. Currently the initial phases are taking place and content is been gathered and edited.
The handbook is divided onto 8 sections covering a diverse range of material for the RE curriculum. This is something needed to be considered in the design process and how we display the information in the most effective and efficient manner.
The handbook is going to use our finetune cms system, to enable articles to be edited and adjusted over time. Also it is going to provide flexibility and structure to how the resource is viewed. A search function is going to be integrated into the user experience to find specific areas of relevance to professionals.
Look out for the launch of the site later in the year.
