Cannock Chase Markets
Client: Cannock Chase Council
Brief: Cannock Chase Council was looking to create a new image for their markets. The client wanted to raise the awareness of the markets and the services that are available. Also they needed to portray a consistent image of all the markets across the borough.
Deliverables: Fliers, postcards, posters, advertisements, and event banners.
Approach: As the client needed to attract a larger footfall to the markets and overcome the perceived impression, we decided to use a vibrant colour scheme. To cater for the variety of people who already shop in the markets and new people looking to attract, we came up with the idea of using different types of carriage accessories.
On the final pieces there are illustrations of carrier bags containing the message reuse me, backpacks, shopping trolleys and canvas bags. For the traditional feel of the markets we used a serif typeface for headings.
